Production Specialist Sr, Excess & Surplus Lines

Location: Atlanta, Georgia, United States; primarily office-based

Global insurance organization providing commercial and personal insurance solutions through Lexington Insurance Company, a US-based surplus lines insurer.

What you will do

• Select, monitor, and price new and renewal business within underwriting authority and company guidelines.
• Market insurance products and services and travel with assigned agents when required.
• Resolve rating, underwriting, and policy issuance issues with agents.
• Support staff training and coordinate special projects, revised forms, new coverages, research, and underwriting guide updates.
• Plan and participate in internal training, industry functions, conventions, and corporate events.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a commercial insurance company, agency, or brokerage.
• Knowledge of US casualty lines, including product features, forms, regulatory environments, and risks.
• Experience building professional relationships and in sales, marketing, or wholesale insurance.
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment, collaborate across teams, and use analytical tools and technology.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of underwriting construction business.
