Senior Architect - Data & Analytics

Location: HBP, Amsterdam, Netherlands; hybrid working. Willingness to travel up to 10%, mainly in Europe, is required.

What you will do

• Design data and analytics components, processes, practices, frameworks, and technology solutions.
• Lead the delivery of architecture artefacts and determine suitable global data and analytics services through hypothesis testing and analysis.
• Design global platform components aligned with infrastructure feasibility, cost, user acceptance, measurability, flexibility, and scalability.
• Maintain the global data and analytics strategy in response to technological, organisational, and industry changes.
• Advise programmes and architects, present solution impacts to senior stakeholders, and produce vision and position papers.
• Lead workshops, training, knowledge-sharing activities, and collaboration with international virtual teams.

Requirements

• At least 10 years of professional IT experience, including at least 5 years in data and analytics.
• Strong knowledge of data and analytics architecture practices and frameworks.
• Experience with database design, including RDBMS, SQL, NoSQL, Google BigQuery, and Vertex AI.
• Background in computer science, mathematics, or physics.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and communicate architecture concepts with senior management.
• Excellent written and spoken English and willingness to travel up to 10% in Europe.
