Solution Architect CDD Detection (Machine Learning)

Location: Hybrid role in Utrecht, Netherlands

Salary: €5,994–€8,563 gross per month for a 36-hour work week

What you will do

• Define scalable and secure architecture for analytics and machine learning solutions that detect customer events and signals.
• Translate business, policy, product management, and engineering requirements into robust technical designs.
• Design and improve machine learning environments and analytics platforms on Azure.
• Analyse existing technology landscapes to identify risks, gaps, and opportunities for future-proof architecture.
• Provide architectural guidance across three teams and support the adoption of MLOps, security, and software engineering best practices.
• Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, platform teams, product managers, policymakers, and senior stakeholders.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in machine learning, data science, solution architecture, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of analytics platforms and machine learning environments.
• Solid understanding of Azure cloud architecture and the Microsoft Azure ecosystem.
• Hands-on expertise with Databricks on Azure and Azure Machine Learning Services.
• Proficiency in Apache Spark, Apache Airflow, MLOps, and CI/CD practices in cloud-based machine learning environments.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, collaboration, and coaching skills.
