Base salary: €49,600–€74,400 per year

What you will do
- Design, develop, and maintain data models, schemas, and ETL/ELT pipelines for large data volumes.
- Build scalable cloud data architectures and orchestration systems with scheduling, dependencies, and retries.
- Implement data quality checks, monitoring, validation, governance, and security practices.
- Collaborate with engineers, data scientists, AI/ML engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver data solutions.
- Improve data infrastructure, document technical systems, and share engineering knowledge.
Requirements
- Strong SQL skills and experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases.
- Experience designing data models and schemas for analytics or product use cases.
- Hands-on experience building ETL/ELT pipelines with tools such as Airflow, Dataflow, or similar.
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform, including BigQuery, CloudSQL, Dataflow, or Pub/Sub, or equivalent AWS/Azure services.
- Proficiency in Python or another data engineering programming language, plus Git and CI/CD experience.
- Knowledge of data governance, security, data privacy regulations, and communication with non-technical stakeholders.
Nice to have
- Fintech or payments industry experience.
- Terraform or CloudFormation experience.
- Experience with orchestration platforms, streaming, real-time processing, ML pipelines, data visualization, or business intelligence tools.
