Data Engineer (AI)

What you will do

• Build and maintain data pipelines from internal databases, SaaS sources, and streaming systems for analytics, machine learning workloads, and product applications.
• Evolve a scalable, reliable, and self-service data platform with Terraform and Kubernetes-based Argo deployments.
• Design data infrastructure, services, and APIs that connect analytical systems with operational and product-facing applications.
• Own data quality and observability through monitoring, testing, alerting, and performance optimization.
• Partner with AI engineers, data scientists, analysts, and product teams to design data solutions.
• Maintain strong data privacy, security, compliance, architecture, and systems documentation.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience building and shipping production-grade data systems.
• Strong SQL skills and proficiency in Python or another object-oriented language such as Java or Scala.
• Hands-on experience with data pipeline tools including Airflow and dbt.
• Experience with cloud-native infrastructure; familiarity with Terraform, Kubernetes, or similar tools.
• Experience designing data APIs or services, or strong interest in analytical and operational systems.
• Strong collaboration, analytical problem-solving, testing, code review, documentation, and independent delivery skills.
