PG Depot Engineer (Automation and Digitization)

Location: Basingstoke, United Kingdom; the role requires a valid passport for European travel and a full driving license.

What you will do

• Lead central depot automation and digitization projects and coordinate local initiatives.
• Develop and implement plant condition monitoring across European Packaged Gases depots, including KPIs and dashboards.
• Support the Manufacturing Execution System and production scheduling for Packaged Gases depots.
• Contribute to depot equipment design and development.
• Deliver productivity projects focused on reducing depot costs.
• Support projects through scope definition, design, cost estimation, execution, commissioning, start-up, and handover to operations.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering.
• English is required; an additional European language is advantageous.
• Valid passport for European travel and a full driving license.
• Knowledge of CAPP and hirify.global Engineering Desktop applications; training is provided if needed.
• Ability to develop multidisciplinary project scopes and understanding of project engineering.
• Strong decision-making, communication, analytical, and project completion skills.
