Supply Chain Intern (Aerospace)

Location: Silver Spring, Maryland, United States; full-time on-site for a minimum of 12 consecutive weeks beginning January, February, or March 2027.

What you will do

• Support inventory optimization, supplier relationships, and operational risk mitigation.
• Help manage the flow of materials required to sustain production and satisfy customer demand.
• Apply engineering, supply chain, and industry concepts to solve operational challenges.
• Collaborate with mentors, supervisors, and cross-functional employees while providing progress updates.
• Lead development projects and contribute to team results with increasing independence.

Requirements

• Must be enrolled in a bachelor's, master's, or doctorate program in engineering, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or Operations Management.
• Must have at least one semester remaining after the internship.
• GPA of 3.0 or above.
• At least 3 months of corporate experience in supply chain.
• Must be able to work full-time on-site for at least 12 consecutive weeks.
• For U.S. offices, candidates must meet applicable ITAR authorization requirements, including U.S. citizenship, lawful permanent residence, refugee or asylee status, or eligibility to obtain the required authorizations.

Nice to have

• GPA of 3.5 or above.
• At least 6 months of corporate supply chain experience.
• Advanced Excel skills, including XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and INDEX/MATCH.
• Experience with SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
