What you will do
- Conduct Compliance controls in line with BaFin requirements, including MaComp and MaRisk, as well as selected regulatory frameworks in Italy and Spain.
- Support the implementation of global Compliance standards, including monitoring and testing, issue management, policies, and procedures.
- Identify and implement new controls and process efficiencies across multiple offices.
- Collaborate with Compliance stakeholders across locations to maintain consistent interpretation, application, reporting, escalation, and documentation.
- Support regulatory notifications, inquiries, examinations, audits, and the Annual Compliance Risk Assessment and report.
- Coordinate governance documentation, management reporting, project management, Board reporting, and KRI/KPI development.
Requirements
- University degree; first professional experience in Compliance or financial services is desirable.
- Basic knowledge of the European regulatory environment, including ESMA guidelines, EBA guidelines, MaComp, and MaRisk.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, organisational, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Effective written and oral communication and sound, balanced judgment.
- Fluent English is required.
