Technical Program Manager (Application Security)

Location: Lisbon, Portugal; hybrid work. Applicants must be permanently present in Portugal.

What you will do

• Drive Application Security programs and initiatives across multiple security and engineering teams.
• Translate priorities into plans, milestones, ownership structures, and measurable outcomes.
• Coordinate dependencies between Application Security, Engineering, and other stakeholders.
• Identify risks and blockers and drive them toward resolution.
• Improve program planning, tracking, metrics, reporting, and responsibility models.
• Communicate program status, risks, and outcomes to stakeholders and leadership while identifying opportunities to automate security processes with AI.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in technical program management, project management, or a similar role.
• Experience driving complex cross-functional initiatives in a technology environment.
• Strong program management, stakeholder management, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Working knowledge of software engineering and Application Security practices, including secure SDLC and vulnerability management.
• Experience using AI tools for productivity, analysis, automation, or program execution.
• Excellent English communication skills and permanent presence in Portugal are required.

Nice to have

• CISSP, CISM, or GIAC certification.
