Tech Lead (Kotlin/Spring Boot)

What you will do

• Lead a product-focused engineering team responsible for fraud prevention, player protection, AML, responsible gambling, dunning, and debt collection capabilities.
• Hire, build, and lead a team of two engineers while fostering ownership and reliability.
• Define and drive architectural decisions for secure, scalable platform capabilities and microservices.
• Evaluate and introduce fraud detection and prevention platforms.
• Write production code, contribute to features, and solve complex technical challenges with the team.
• Collaborate with Product Management, internal business stakeholders, and other engineering teams on product strategy, APIs, interfaces, and architecture.

Requirements

• Proven people leadership experience with an empowering management style.
• Strong hands-on experience with Kotlin, Spring Boot, MongoDB, and PostgreSQL.
• Experience deploying, monitoring, and maintaining microservices on Kubernetes.
• Strong knowledge of REST APIs and Kafka-based event-driven processing pipelines.
• Experience building secure, scalable, and reliable production systems, including security-by-design and resilience patterns.
• Experience with agentic AI development practices and operating models.
