Cloud Operations Engineers (AWS/Azure)

Location: Leeds, United Kingdom; office-based at a purpose-built facility. UK-based travel is required for projects. Candidates must have the right to work in the UK and be able to achieve UK Security Clearance.

What you will do

• Monitor, support, and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure services for clients.
• Help maintain optimal performance, availability, and reliability across managed environments.
• Train across AWS, Azure, M365, and related cloud technologies.
• Work with experienced engineers on real-world infrastructure and client projects.
• Plan work, estimate effort, report issues, and deliver tasks on time.
• Participate in a 24/7 support rota when required by customer delivery.

Requirements

• At least one year of professional IT experience in cloud, infrastructure, or a similar support role, or relevant entry-level cloud certifications.
• Strong enthusiasm for continuous learning and personal development.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex problems and communicate effectively in a collaborative team.
• Ability to organise work, track progress, and produce accurate reports.
• Must be willing to travel within the UK, have the right to work in the UK, and be able to achieve UK Security Clearance.
• A computing degree or similar qualification, or equivalent real-world IT experience.

Nice to have

• Experience with critical systems, alert monitoring, or event management.
• Skill in at least one scripting language.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code, containerisation, Kubernetes, Docker, or CI/CD pipelines.
