Research & Development - European PhD Seminar 2027 Event

Location: Brussels Innovation Center, Belgium. Five-day onsite seminar from April 18 to April 22, 2027.

What you will do

• Explore how scientists and engineers apply research and technical knowledge to consumer product innovation.
• Visit the Brussels Innovation Center and meet R&D scientists, engineers, and managers.
• Collaborate with international PhD students on industry-focused challenges.
• Practice addressing real problems, making decisions, setting priorities, and communicating ideas.
• Develop skills in teamwork, motivating people, and understanding R&D career opportunities.

Requirements

• Be a science or engineering PhD student in the final year of the PhD.
• Relevant disciplines include natural, life, or physical sciences; data science; electrical, mechanical, biotechnological, and chemical engineering; and related engineering fields.
• Ideally graduate between January 2027 and May 2028.
• Attend the seminar onsite at the Brussels Innovation Center in Belgium.
