Solutions Engineer (Cybersecurity)

What you will do

• Support the sales organization with technical expertise on F5 solutions and products.
• Present F5’s product strategy, positioning, value proposition, and technical solutions for customer business objectives.
• Design solutions and deliver sales presentations, demonstrations, whiteboard sessions, and proofs of concept.
• Assess opportunity viability and map customer organizational structures and technical decision-makers.
• Drive the technical aspects of the sales process in partnership with the Account Manager.
• Provide customer support throughout the customer lifecycle and collaborate with internal technical and sales resources.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 10+ years of related industry experience.
• Expertise in secure multi-cloud architectures and experience with at least two public or private cloud vendors and automation toolsets.
• Proficiency in containerized and microservices architectures, including container orchestration solutions such as OpenShift or Kubernetes.
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities and experience leading initiatives.
• Advanced F5 solution knowledge and understanding of application security vulnerabilities, threats, controls, and web application firewalls.

Nice to have

• Experience with key competitor offerings.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, or Golang.
• Experience joining, leading, or organizing meetups to represent F5.
• Prior mentorship experience.
