What you will do

• Lead a six-person cybersecurity team supporting a major government project.
• Direct security risk assessments across on-premise, AWS, Azure, DevOps, IoT, and third-party environments.
• Review vulnerability assessments, prioritize risks, and define actionable mitigation strategies.
• Lead reviews of security policies, standards, procedures, and regulatory compliance against NIST, ISO 27001, CSA, and MAS frameworks.
• Guide application security activities, including secure code reviews, threat modeling, architecture reviews, and secure SDLC integration.
• Oversee cloud security architecture reviews, System Security Acceptance Testing, client communication, executive reporting, and team development.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• 5–8 years of cybersecurity consulting experience with leadership across risk assessment, application security, cloud security, compliance, security by design, and vulnerability management.
• Experience securing AWS, Azure, and GCP environments, including native tools and cloud security best practices.
• Hands-on experience with STRIDE, PASTA, and security testing in CI/CD environments.
• Knowledge of NIST 800-series, ISO 27001, CIS Controls, and MAS TRM.
• Project and people leadership experience, with strong stakeholder, client management, and executive communication skills.

Nice to have

• CISSP, CISM, OSCP, CCSP, CISA, or equivalent certification.
