Maintenance Technician

Location: Dayton, Ohio, United States; occasional work and part pickups in Vandalia, Ohio. The role involves onsite facility maintenance and approximately 5% local travel.

What you will do

• Perform basic mechanical, electrical, and light carpentry maintenance.
• Repair electronic and mechanical door locks, closures, modular furniture, restroom partitions, fixtures, switches, receptacles, and occupancy sensors.
• Handle power washing, water damage cleanup, drywall patching, painting, drain cleaning, and plumbing fixture repairs.
• Repair domestic and heating copper water systems and investigate or repair roof and window leaks.
• Manage occasional subcontractor work involving elevator, door, plumbing, roofing, generator, electrical, and fire systems.

Requirements

• Basic mechanical, electrical, and light carpentry skills.
• Strong work ethic and a high level of customer service.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and work independently and as part of a team.
• Approximately 5% travel for local part pickups and work at the Vandalia warehouse.
• Valid driver's license with fewer than two moving violations in the last three years and no OVI, DUI, or DWI violations in the last five years.
