Marketing and Communications Manager – 12 month FTC (Fusion Energy)

Location: Culham Campus, United Kingdom. Regular onsite presence is required, usually 3–5 days per week; flexible working is supported where compatible with the role.

Salary: £64,115 per year, plus up to a 7% corporate performance bonus.

What you will do

• Develop and deliver the marketing and communications strategy for Culham Campus.
• Create annual marketing plans covering budgets, target audiences, and performance measures.
• Lead integrated campaigns across digital, print, social media, events, and other channels.
• Provide strategic communications advice on complex or sensitive Estates matters.
• Oversee communications for planning, public engagement, tenant relations, redevelopment, and campus development.
• Manage agencies, suppliers, contractors, stakeholder relationships, and campaign performance reporting.

Requirements

• Relevant degree or substantial experience in marketing or communications.
• Strong experience developing and delivering communications strategies.
• Proven success leading communications for complex, high-profile programmes or projects.
• Experience acting as a communications business partner or strategic adviser to senior leaders.
• Experience preparing and managing budgets.
• Experience briefing and managing external agencies and suppliers.
