Engineering Specialist (Test Maintenance)

Location: Woodlands, Singapore; onsite role with a 12-hour night shift from 7:30 p.m. to 7:45 a.m. No travel required.

hirify.global operates a large electronics manufacturing site in Singapore focused on recording media operations.

What you will do

• Maintain, repair, and troubleshoot production and test equipment to minimize downtime.
• Establish and execute preventive maintenance programs and scheduled maintenance activities.
• Maintain testers and automation systems, including pick-and-place robots.
• Conduct head changes for Burnish, Glide, and Cert heads.
• Troubleshoot testers down to the board level.
• Monitor machine yield and performance through real-time systems and take corrective action.

Requirements

• Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronic Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• Self-motivated, positive, collaborative, and able to solve problems effectively.
• Willingness to work in a clean room environment.
• Willingness to work a 12-hour night-shift pattern from 7:30 p.m. to 7:45 a.m.

Nice to have

• Relevant manufacturing industry experience.
• Experience troubleshooting equipment to the board level.
