Test Engineer (IoT & Embedded)

What you will do

• Review system specifications, requirements, and user stories.
• Design and maintain test documentation and test cases.
• Prepare software and hardware testing environments.
• Execute manual functional, integration, regression, and acceptance testing.
• Identify, prioritize, document, and track defects, then verify fixes.
• Collaborate with developers, Product Owners, Customer representatives, and distributed international teams.

Requirements

• 3+ years of commercial experience in manual testing.
• Upper-Intermediate or higher English and proficiency in Ukrainian.
• Good understanding of SDLC and software testing methodologies.
• Experience with functional, integration, regression, and acceptance testing.
• Experience with bug tracking tools such as Jira, Trello, or Bugzilla.
• Strong analytical, communication, collaboration, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• Basic scripting or programming knowledge.
• Experience with Unix or Linux systems.
• Experience with TestRail, Zephyr, or similar test management tools.
• Experience testing embedded or IoT solutions and cloud-integrated systems.
• Familiarity with Lua.
