Software Engineer III

Salary: $126,901–$198,000 per year, plus annual or quarterly performance incentives.

What you will do

• Develop, configure, maintain, and re-engineer software components, applications, backend services, and microservices.
• Design, test, and optimize ETL pipelines and large-scale data-processing workflows.
• Develop and troubleshoot RESTful APIs and high-throughput Kafka messaging and streaming systems.
• Build CI/CD automation, telemetry, monitoring, logging, and scripts for repetitive engineering tasks.
• Create and execute test cases, perform regression testing, analyze defects, and troubleshoot application performance and availability.
• Translate business and customer requirements into technical requirements, test objectives, and traceability documentation.

Requirements

• Onsite position in Denver, Colorado, United States.
• Master’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with object-oriented and procedural programming in C, C++, Python, and Go, plus software design patterns and clean coding practices.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redshift, database design, schema design, and data modeling.
• Experience with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, CloudWatch, Grafana, New Relic, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Git, and GitHub.
• Experience with automated unit, integration, and regression testing using Pytest, as well as agile workflows with Jira and Confluence. Any amount of experience with the required skills is accepted.
