Software Engineer II (Python)

What you will do

• Design, develop, and deploy high-performance optimization systems processing large data volumes.
• Build data, optimization, and simulation solutions for fulfillment operations.
• Develop engineering pipelines for model deployment and testing.
• Collaborate with data scientists, software engineers, and domain experts to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Investigate data quality issues, debug complex production problems, and identify root causes.
• Implement software engineering practices including code reviews, unit testing, version control, and CI/CD.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of professional software development experience with distributed, high-performance systems.
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Experience with unit testing and CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to analyze business requirements, write maintainable code, and solve complex problems independently.
• Strong communication, collaboration, time management, and organizational skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS cloud technologies.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, or CloudFormation.
• Experience in supply chain or operational research.
