Senior Manager, Advanced Analytics

Location: 811 Excellence Dr., Bentonville, Arkansas 72716, United States; onsite

Salary: $127,171–$180,000 per year

What you will do

• Own complex analytics projects from initial planning through implementation, managing risks, priorities, performance standards, and contingency plans.
• Lead advanced analytics initiatives addressing complex business and technical problems and provide strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
• Develop, implement, test, and validate data models, prototypes, rule-based algorithms, and production-ready solutions.
• Build scalable analytical workflows and data models for large datasets, reporting, KPI development, and data-driven decision-making.
• Collaborate with software engineering, category management, and other cross-functional partners on algorithms, prototypes, and analytics strategies.
• Manage, mentor, and develop associates while building a team-based work environment and setting performance expectations.

Requirements

• Master’s degree or equivalent in Business, Finance, Accounting, Statistics, or a related field plus 2 years of experience in data analytics or a related field; or bachelor’s degree or equivalent plus 4 years of relevant experience.
• Experience designing and implementing rule-based algorithms for batch or real-time API deployment.
• Experience with Tableau or Power BI, SQL, Python, PySpark, BigQuery, cloud-based databases, and data warehouses.
• Experience using CI/CD tools such as JFrog and Airflow and version control systems such as Git.
• Experience applying regression analysis, hypothesis testing, multivariate analysis, anomaly detection, and outlier analysis.
• Experience with data cleaning and preprocessing, root cause analysis, KPI validation and optimization, and ad hoc business analysis.
