Senior QA (Web3)

hirify.global is building a betting platform where bets, payouts, wallet interactions, and game results are mirrored on-chain.

What you will do

• Lead the selection and implementation of the first end-to-end testing framework, such as Playwright.
• Integrate automated testing, testability, and observability into SST and AWS deployments.
• Validate the mathematical accuracy and consistency of payouts, bets, wallet interactions, transaction history, and game results across legacy and on-chain systems.
• Test event-driven, asynchronous, and high-concurrency workflows, including queues, workers, partial failures, race conditions, rollbacks, and data reconciliation.
• Develop testing strategies for production-like environments where on-chain transactions are permanent and verifiable.
• Collaborate with engineers on the definition of done and build observability and testability into the codebase.

Requirements

• Strong experience with automated QA and a manual-testing-last approach.
• Ability to write maintainable testing frameworks in TypeScript.
• Understanding of event-driven systems, AWS EventBridge, PostgreSQL indexing, and asynchronous workflows.
• Experience in the casino industry and familiarity with Web3 and smart contracts.
• Strong attention to edge cases, data accuracy, and financial or gaming-system correctness.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced startup environment with ambiguity.

Nice to have

• Experience with Bruno, AWS CloudWatch, SST, Pulumi, and GitHub Actions.
• Experience testing Node.js and PostgreSQL-based systems.
