CNC Machinist (Aerospace)

What you will do

• Program, set up, and operate modern CNC equipment.
• Own machining jobs from programming through finished aerospace components.
• Develop machining strategies, tooling, and fixturing solutions.
• Machine precision components from aluminium, stainless steel, titanium, and Inconel.
• Prove out new processes and transition them into production manufacturing.
• Inspect components, maintain tight tolerances, and improve quality, repeatability, and cycle times.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a CNC Machinist.
• Strong CNC programming, setup, and machining experience.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, including GD&T.
• Strong understanding of machining processes, tooling, and workholding.
• Experience using precision measuring equipment.
• High attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem solving and continuous improvement.

Nice to have

• Experience with Fusion 360, TopSolid, or SolidCAM.
• Experience with Fanuc or Heidenhain controllers.
• Experience with multi-axis machining, mill-turn equipment, or the listed DMG MORI and HAAS machines.
