CNC Machinist - Operator/Programmer (Weekend Night Shift)

Location: Pasadena, Texas, USA. Weekend night shift only: Friday–Sunday, 12 hours per night.

What you will do

• Set up, program, edit, and operate CNC lathes, mills, drills, and other numerical-control machinery.
• Work from drawings, prints, sketches, routings, and written or verbal instructions.
• Maintain machining quality and tolerances within .0003 inches.
• Preset and resharpen tools, adjust machine parameters, and work with stainless steel, alloy steel, cast iron, brass, and other materials.
• Inspect completed work using micrometers, bore gauges, vernier calipers, and other measuring instruments.
• Maintain equipment and work areas, follow safety and preventive-maintenance procedures, and report operating issues.

Requirements

• Previous CNC machining experience is required.
• At least 3 years of CNC machine-tool programming and operating experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent, preferably with technical school education and machinist knowledge.
• Ability to operate at least two CNC machine tools and read and interpret machine drawings.
• Previous manual machinist experience, mathematical ability, and capacity to resolve basic technical problems.
• Detail-oriented, independent, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities efficiently.

Nice to have

• Mazak lathe experience; Haas and DMG lathe experience is a plus.
• Mazak mill experience; Integrex and Haas mill experience is a plus.
