Junior Data Center Technician (AI)

Location: Riga, Latvia. On-site work with an 8-hour shift rotation covering 24/7 operations.

Salary: €19,000–€22,000 gross annually.

What you will do

• Install and maintain servers, storage systems, networking equipment, and structured cabling.
• Replace failed components including drives, fans, power supplies, motherboards, and CPUs.
• Rack and stack servers, switches, and supporting equipment.
• Install, route, label, and test copper and fibre cabling.
• Trace faults to failing components using a methodical troubleshooting approach.
• Receive and inventory hardware and perform physical site checks.

Requirements

• Some hands-on technical or operations experience in a data center, critical environment, or adjacent technical trade.
• Practical aptitude for hardware work, component-level tasks, and rack-and-stack activities.
• Basic understanding of network links, copper cabling, and fibre cabling.
• Methodical fault-finding skills and the discipline to escalate issues when necessary.
• Ability and willingness to work on-site in a rotating shift schedule.
• Professional fluency in English and fluency in Latvian are required.

Nice to have

• Exposure to liquid cooling or GPU hardware.
• Interest in fibre optics and link-level troubleshooting.
