Power Platform Developer

Location: Birmingham, United Kingdom; hybrid working with office attendance and remote working

Salary: £50,000–£60,000 per year

What you will do

• Build business applications and automated processes with Power Apps and Power Automate.
• Create dashboards and reporting solutions using Power BI.
• Enhance VisualFiles workflows, scripts, templates, and supporting data structures.
• Connect internal platforms, Microsoft 365, and external services through APIs and Dataverse.
• Develop, maintain, troubleshoot, and support .NET applications, integrations, and SQL databases.
• Work with technical and non-technical stakeholders to define requirements, test solutions, and maintain documentation.

Requirements

• Commercial experience developing solutions with Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps and Power Automate.
• Experience with SQL and relational databases.
• Experience building or supporting REST API integrations.
• Familiarity with Dataverse and the wider Microsoft ecosystem.
• Development experience with C#, .NET, or another object-oriented language.
• Knowledge of software development lifecycles, source control, testing, troubleshooting, and stakeholder communication.

Nice to have

• VisualFiles configuration or development experience, including Task Server, scripting, templates, workflows, or data structures.
• Knowledge of Intapp or a comparable workflow and client-intake platform.
• Experience in a law firm, professional-services business, or case-management environment.
