Senior NPD Engineer (Overcurrent Protection)

What you will do

• Lead new product development projects for overcurrent protection products from concept and feasibility through production release.
• Develop prototype plans, manage technical project resources and schedules, and coordinate project review meetings.
• Prepare technical documentation, including DFMEA, engineering drawings, and validation plans.
• Evaluate product development results for applicability, validity, and conformance with design specifications.
• Research new materials and technologies, conducting experiments and prototyping to validate their potential.
• Provide technical support on product performance, capability, and reliability to sales, marketing, process development, and quality teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Materials Science and Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in new product development.
• Ability to independently develop products and lead technical projects.
• Experience with engineering tools such as 3D/2D CAD and knowledge of APQP and DFMEA.
• Experience with electronic components, particularly fuses, breakers, or relays, is preferred.
• Result-oriented and self-motivated approach.

• Good oral and written communication skills in English.
