What you will do
- Identify breakthrough product concepts for automotive and electric vehicle, data center, and AI infrastructure markets.
- Partner with GaN, SiC, and advanced MOS business groups to define future power trees and system architectures.
- Translate customer and application requirements into technical IC specifications and product requirement documents.
- Act as the technical bridge between external customers and internal analog, digital design, and validation teams.
- Conduct performance, cost, and risk feasibility studies to maximize product differentiation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- 10+ years of experience in semiconductor systems engineering, applications, or product definition.
- Strong understanding of power electronics, power topologies, and analog/mixed-signal ICs.
- Ability to translate complex system requirements into actionable hardware specifications.
Nice to have
- Master’s degree or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering.
- Experience defining PMICs, multi-phase regulators, or power trees for AI or automotive systems.
- Familiarity with simulation, power integrity, thermal and EMI constraints, and silicon validation.
- Experience with GaN, SiC, BCD processes or products, and at least three years of IC design experience.
- Multiple patents in semiconductor product, circuit, or power topology design.
