About the Role

You will lead threat intelligence analysts, fraud researchers, and detection engineers. You will set the research agenda, guide investigations, turn findings into production controls, coordinate with internal and external partners, and hire, coach, and develop technical staff.

Requirements

• 10+ years leading security engineering or research teams
• Technical team leadership and performance management experience
• Fraud and abuse pattern knowledge in payments and fintech
• Threat intelligence tradecraft
• OSINT
• Dark web collection
• Actor attribution
• ATT&CK or STIX/TAXII familiarity
• Threat actor TTP knowledge

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop, and retain threat intelligence analysts, fraud researchers, and detection engineers
• Set and execute the abuse research agenda
• Provide technical judgment on complex fraud investigations
• Operationalize research findings into detection rules and automated response mechanisms
• Collaborate on proactive platform protections
• Coordinate with external stakeholders and law enforcement
• Coach and mentor individual contributors
