Manufacturing Operations Manager (Contract)

Location: Onsite in Kulim, Malaysia; shift work required.

What you will do

• Lead technicians responsible for manufacturing operations, equipment maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting.
• Own safety, quality, scheduling, staffing, and conflict resolution across the assigned manufacturing area.
• Coordinate work flow between factories, groups, divisions, and engineering teams to resolve operational issues.
• Develop tactical and long-term plans to meet production schedules, quality targets, cost objectives, and future capability requirements.
• Manage shift schedules, workstation assignments, rotations, training, vacations, breaks, overtime, and coverage for absences.
• Set clear goals, maintain accountability, develop team capabilities, and drive production results.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of relevant professional experience, including 1 year leading a team of technicians.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronics, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or a related engineering field.
• Strong engineering or technical background.
• Willingness and ability to work onsite in Kulim, Malaysia.
• Willingness to work shifts as required.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage stress.
