Application Engineer (RF & Microwave)

Location: Mid-Atlantic region, United States; candidates must reside in the US and be US citizens

Total compensation: $140K–$190K, including base salary, variable pay when applicable, and benefits.

What you will do

• Provide pre- and post-sales technical support for RF test and measurement instruments and applications across the Mid-Atlantic region.
• Build customer relationships and coordinate technical and sales support with Application Engineers and Account Managers.
• Develop and deliver product demonstrations and proof-of-concept solutions tailored to customer applications.
• Provide hands-on training, application guides, and on-site support for customer engineering teams.
• Partner with R&D and product teams to communicate customer insights and influence product roadmap decisions.

Requirements

• Strong background in electrical engineering or a related field; a BSEE or similar degree is preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of RF and microwave systems and test and measurement instrumentation, including spectrum analyzers, signal generators, oscilloscopes, and vector network analyzers.
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience testing, evaluating, or designing RF and microwave components and systems.
• Programming experience with Python, MATLAB, LabVIEW, or similar tools.
• Strong communication, ownership, and collaborative problem-solving skills.
• Must reside in the United States and be a US citizen.
