What you will do
- Lead OSAT strategic engagement, supplier selection, commercial negotiations, pricing, long-term agreements, capacity agreements, and payment terms.
- Own OSAT supplier strategy and drive cost optimization through cost breakdown analysis, should-cost modeling, VA/VE, and localization.
- Manage cross-functional OSAT programs across mass production, NPI, transfers, ramp-up, and EOL phases.
- Ensure supply continuity through capacity planning, allocation strategies, and supply risk mitigation.
- Govern contracts including MSAs, NDAs, pricing frameworks, and commercial agreements.
- Lead supplier performance reviews, KPI tracking, escalation management, and resolution of quality, delivery, capacity, and commercial issues.
Requirements
- 3+ years of purchasing or procurement experience; OSAT experience is required.
- Experience in semiconductor or electronics procurement, strategic sourcing, supplier management, or program management.
- Fluent English required; Japanese proficiency is advantageous.
- Hands-on experience or familiarity with power-related products and components is advantageous.
- Advanced Excel and data analysis skills, with proficiency in PowerPoint for executive presentations.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, negotiation, and cross-functional influencing skills.
