Senior ELM - Developer Productivity

Location: Toronto, Canada; hybrid work with office attendance on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays

What you will do

• Own the architecture and delivery of Developer Experience and Release Engineering capabilities.
• Design deterministic and agent-evaluated gates across the software delivery lifecycle.
• Implement policy-as-code enforcement, contract testing, mutation scoring, and SLO-driven progressive delivery with automated rollbacks.
• Define and sequence a gated SDLC transformation roadmap with Quality & Delivery, Test Engineering, and Application Services leaders.
• Use DORA/SPACE-aligned delivery and quality metrics to improve engineering effectiveness and manage release risk.
• Recruit, onboard, develop, and lead engineers across Toronto and Bengaluru.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 12+ years of experience in commercial software development and 5+ years of engineering management experience.
• Hands-on experience architecting policy-as-code enforcement and SLO-driven progressive delivery.
• Experience designing deterministic and agent-evaluated automated gates in software delivery pipelines.
• Strong analytical, synthesis, communication, stakeholder management, and planning skills.
• Demonstrated success leading globally distributed teams across multiple time zones.
