Senior Manager – Ontology & Digital Asset Management (AI)

Location: hirify.global, New York area and Florida operations; role location is not otherwise specified.

Salary: $101,493.51–$175,076.17 annually.

What you will do

• Lead the development and maintenance of a patient-centered, AI-ready ontology connecting taxonomies, web information architecture, and linked data.
• Map disparate institutional data structures into unified frameworks that improve interoperability, reporting, and data consistency.
• Partner with Data Science and Engineering to automate taxonomy maintenance, metadata auditing, tagging, and discovery of patient-search terms.
• Author governance documentation, data dictionaries, and metadata standards; provide training, onboarding, troubleshooting, and best-practice guidance.
• Manage the Bynder digital asset management platform, including department onboarding, asset audits, metadata mapping, and workflow integration.
• Monitor taxonomy and DAM performance, establish KPIs, and collaborate with IT and vendors on maintenance, upgrades, and optimization.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in taxonomy, information architecture, and/or DAM administration.
• Bachelor’s degree in Library Science, Information Management, or a related field.
• Experience with enterprise DAM platforms such as AEM, Bynder, or Widen.
• Familiarity with SQL and ontology/taxonomy management tools and systems.
• Strong understanding of metadata standards, linked data standards, and digital rights management.
• Excellent organizational, communication, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
