Senior Digital Security Manager (Cybersecurity)

Location: Hybrid role based in London, Cheltenham or Manchester, with 4 days office-based and 1 day remote. Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week. DV Security Clearance is required; candidates must have lived in the UK for at least 10 years to obtain clearance.

What you will do

• Define, deliver and execute the Digital Cyber Security Strategy and security roadmaps.
• Lead digital security architecture, secure-by-design practices, and the deployment and integration of security solutions.
• Drive threat modelling, security impact assessments, risk tracking and the development of mitigating security solutions.
• Provide digital cyber security expertise and guidance to senior stakeholders, clients, colleagues and external authorities.
• Direct a small team delivering the technical definition, configuration, design and implementation of security technologies and services.

Requirements

• Experience in information security strategy and security assessment.
• Experience with technical and enterprise security architecture.
• Strong stakeholder management skills.
• Extensive knowledge of cybersecurity principles, technologies, threats, vulnerabilities and best practices in complex enterprise environments.
• Experience with risk management frameworks, financial management, budget planning and supplier oversight.
• DV Security Clearance is required, with at least 10 years of UK residence needed to obtain clearance.

Nice to have

• Experience securing cloud platforms, artificial intelligence, automation and digital transformation initiatives.
• Experience in digital security operations, threat intelligence, monitoring, detection, vulnerability management and incident handling.
• CISSP, CISM, CCISO, GIAC or CRISC certification, or membership of a professional body.
• Experience driving organisational change and improving cyber maturity.
