GRC Cyber Security Consultant

Location: Bristol Area, UK. Hybrid role requiring attendance at the Bristol office 2–3 days per week.

What you will do

• Advise clients on secure architecture, Secure by Design, network segmentation, zero-trust frameworks, IDAM, PAM, and DLP.
• Provide guidance and assurance against cybersecurity standards, regulations, and frameworks including ISO 27001, NIST, NIS2, the Cyber Resilience Act, the AI Act, and EASA Part-IS.
• Deliver risk assessments, gap assessments, assurance artefacts, and prioritised remediation roadmaps across the system lifecycle.
• Evaluate architectures and technical configurations, identify vulnerabilities, and develop cyber-resilience strategies.
• Lead multiple client engagements, manage delivery timelines, and maintain customer relationships across sectors.
• Support business development through technical content, bids, customer events, webinars, panels, and case studies.

Requirements

• 5–10 years of experience in cybersecurity consulting or a technical leadership role.
• Must hold or be able to obtain UK Government Security Clearance.
• At least one relevant certification, such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP, CISA, ISO 27001, GICSP, or ISA62443.
• Demonstrable experience with regulatory compliance, cybersecurity frameworks, standards adherence, risk management, and security architecture.
• Strong presentation and communication skills, including the ability to explain complex technical topics to non-technical stakeholders.
• Full UK Driving Licence and availability to work from the Bristol office 2–3 days per week.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting business development, bids, technical marketing, or customer relationship management.
• Experience with AI productivity tools and securing AI environments.
