Manager, Software Engineering - League of Legends, Alternate Play Modes

What you will do

• Manage a small group of engineers through mentorship, guidance, and career support.
• Contribute hands-on to UI and player-facing gameplay systems.
• Build and modernize new and rotating game modes for the League of Legends ecosystem.
• Maintain engineering standards for scalability, testing, documentation, and code maintainability.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, artists, and other engineering groups to deliver integrated game features.

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• 2+ years of engineering management or technical leadership experience in game development.
• Strong proficiency in C++ and experience working with large, complex codebases.
• Experience building and shipping UI/UX features or player-facing gameplay systems in games.
• Ability to balance people leadership with hands-on coding.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience, plus strong cross-disciplinary communication skills.
