Location: San Francisco, CA or Seattle, WA, United States
Salary: $184,900β$250,200 annually in Seattle, or $212,700β$287,700 annually in San Francisco.

What you will do
- Lead engineers designing, building, and operating consumer-facing full stack applications.
- Set a clear team vision and drive delivery of customer-impacting products and features.
- Build experiences that help creators earn a living, including features such as Subscriptions, Gifting, Turbo, Bits, and Hype Train.
- Develop engineering talent by attracting, hiring, retaining, and supporting team members' career growth.
- Evaluate technical proposals and trade-offs, reframe plans, and maintain delivery focus in a changing environment.
Requirements
- Track record of leading teams that design, implement, and operate consumer-facing full stack applications.
- 8+ years of software development experience, including 2+ years of people management experience.
- Experience with web services, cloud infrastructure, and system design.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to attract, hire, and retain engineering talent.
- Comfort working in an ambiguous and continuously changing environment.
Nice to have
- Hands-on experience with Golang, AWS Cloud Infrastructure, or React.
- Experience building machine learning or AI applications.
- Master's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
