What you will do

  • Provide medical and scientific subject matter expertise in hematology-oncology across the research and development lifecycle.
  • Support proposal development, protocol design, clinical development planning, and client bid-defense meetings.
  • Assess mechanisms of action, clinical data, scientific and regulatory feasibility, patient recruitment, standards of care, and the competitive landscape.
  • Guide project teams and sponsors during clinical trials and provide coaching on medical and executional strategy.
  • Collaborate with Business Development, Operations, Commercial Consulting Services, Real World Services, and other medical strategy leads.
  • Contribute to scientific conferences, thought leadership, client engagements, and post-award governance activities.

Requirements

  • MD oncologist with training in oncology; hematology expertise in addition to solid tumor experience is advantageous.
  • Board certification in oncology.
  • Typically 5–7 years of relevant experience, including at least 3 years of biopharmaceutical industry experience outside the training period.
  • Practical experience leading and managing research and development processes, projects, and tactics.
  • Strong communication, presentation, interpersonal, negotiation, influencing, and customer relations skills.
  • Good command of spoken and written English is required.
