Salary: $86,500–$216,000 annual base pay

What you will do

  • Manage clinical operations staff, including workload planning, performance evaluation, professional development, and employee relations.
  • Allocate trained clinical staff to clinical research projects based on experience and study requirements.
  • Oversee onboarding, training plans, SOP review, systems access, and staff readiness.
  • Monitor clinical work quality, workload metrics, and project objectives; identify risks and implement corrective action plans.
  • Collaborate with clinical teams and functional leaders to resolve project challenges and support customer service.
  • Act as a client liaison for local sponsor affiliates and mentor managers, peers, and new employees.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline or healthcare field preferred.
  • Prior clinical trial experience in a management or leadership capacity, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of clinical research regulations, including GCP and ICH guidelines.
  • Strong leadership, organization, problem-solving, time-management, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Good command of English and the ability to work in Washington, DC, United States of America.

Nice to have

  • Medical device clinical trial experience.
  • Experience supporting strategic business decisions through cross-functional operational partnerships.
