Therapeutic Strategy Director – Early Clinical Development

Salary: $122,800–$342,200 annual base pay

What you will do

• Design differentiated therapeutic and operational strategies for First-in-Human, dose-finding, biomarker development, and Phase IIa studies.
• Lead cross-functional teams through proposal development, client presentations, bid defenses, and project award.
• Develop protocol feasibility, risk management, country and site distribution, patient recruitment, monitoring, and vendor strategies.
• Own senior client relationships in collaboration with sales and account teams, supporting business growth and client satisfaction.
• Translate sold strategies to delivery teams and provide post-award guidance when study strategies change.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in life sciences; an advanced degree is preferred.
• 10 or more years of global clinical research experience, including hands-on Phase I operational delivery or drug development experience.
• Extensive experience in clinical operations and clinical project management.
• Experience in early clinical development, including First-in-Human, dose-finding, healthy-volunteer, and patient Phase I studies.
• Broad protocol and therapeutic knowledge, with practical understanding of the biopharma industry, drug development lifecycle, and clinical trial delivery.
• Strong leadership, critical thinking, independent working ability, and experience leading virtual teams in a matrix organization.
