Location: Primarily based at hirify.global, Fineshade, Corby, Northamptonshire, with work across the Rockingham forest area and a firearms skills test at Sherwood Pines.

What you will do

• Work as part of the Central England forest resilience project team.
• Protect forests and support conservation priorities across the Rockingham forest area.
• Carry out mammal management and wider wildlife management activities.
• Work with the Project Wildlife Manager and the wider district wildlife team.
• Promote health and safety through the “look out and look after” culture.

Requirements

• Ability to work in the Fineshade, Corby and Rockingham forest area is required.
• Accurate spoken English is required.
• Experience and career history relevant to the role must be demonstrated in the application.
• Successful candidates must pass a criminal record check and the government Baseline Personnel Security Standard check.
• Interview candidates must complete a firearms skills test and bring a zeroed rifle, suitable equipment, and sufficient lead-free ammunition.
