Seafood Auditor - Scotland Based

Location: Scotland, ideally Inverness or the Highlands region, United Kingdom. Regular travel throughout Scotland and the UK is required, with occasional international travel.

What you will do

• Deliver audits across Scotland and occasionally internationally.
• Assess compliance with seafood, aquaculture, and food assurance standards.
• Audit salmon farming, seafood processing, fisheries, and supply chain operations.
• Build trusted relationships with clients and support their performance improvement.
• Prepare clear and professional audit reports.
• Support the growth of the Seafood Assurance business.

Requirements

• Experience in seafood, aquaculture, fisheries, food manufacturing, or a related industry.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel throughout Scotland and the UK.
• Degree or equivalent experience in a relevant discipline.
• Existing auditing experience is advantageous but not essential.

Nice to have

• Qualification in relevant seafood assurance schemes.
• Existing auditor qualifications.
