HSE Advisor (Construction) (SHEQ/infrastructure): Providing practical, site-based safety, health, environmental, and quality support across live UK construction and infrastructure projects with an accent on site inspections, RAMS reviews, CDM 2015 compliance, and subcontractor performance. Focus on investigating incidents, managing corrective actions, and supporting safe delivery across overhead line, underground cable, substation, and utilities projects.

What you will do
- Provide health and safety advice to project and operational teams.
- Carry out site inspections, audits, assurance activities, and environmental inspections.
- Review RAMS, safe systems of work, project risk controls, CDM 2015 requirements, and Construction Phase Plans.
- Support quality requirements, ITPs, NCRs, incident investigations, and corrective action tracking.
- Deliver toolbox talks, briefings, and SHEQ campaigns.
- Monitor subcontractor SHEQ performance and support continual improvement.
Requirements
- NEBOSH General, NEBOSH Construction, or equivalent qualification.
- Working knowledge of UK health and safety legislation and CDM 2015.
- Experience in a SHEQ or health and safety role within construction, utilities, infrastructure, or engineering.
- Practical experience working on live construction sites, carrying out inspections, reviewing RAMS, and supporting incident investigations.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
Nice to have
- Experience with Power T&D, overhead lines, underground cables, substations, utilities, or major infrastructure.
