Senior SDET (AI)

Location: Vancouver, Canada

Salary: $150,500–$175,250 CAD per year base salary for exceptional talent based in British Columbia, Canada; bonus, equity, and benefits are not included.

What you will do

• Plan and implement functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end tests across UI, API, and database layers.
• Develop and analyze capacity and performance tests for microservices and key product scenarios.
• Own test strategy for AI Contact Center systems, including AI Routing, Digital Agent workflows, and Agentic Analytics.
• Build test instrumentation and evaluation approaches for non-deterministic AI behavior.
• Perform failure analysis, define relevant KPIs, and communicate results with engineering and business stakeholders.
• Participate in design reviews, add test hooks early, write maintainable test software, and mentor engineers.

Requirements

• Typically 6+ years of relevant software development experience, preferably including test automation frameworks for SaaS applications.
• Strong programming expertise in Python, Java, or another major programming language.
• Experience designing scalable test automation frameworks and applying functional, integration, load, and performance testing methodologies.
• Deep familiarity with cloud technologies and REST service testing, plus experience integrating tests into CI pipelines.
• Experience using AI coding agents for test generation and optimization.
• Polished written and verbal English communication skills are required.

Nice to have

• Experience with AI-driven evaluation methodologies, evaluation harnesses for non-deterministic systems, or enterprise-scale data infrastructure.
