Credit Products Commercial Portfolio Manager

Location: Birmingham, Alabama, United States; onsite at Regions Center

Salary range target: $49,929–$71,400 USD annually, plus eligibility for a discretionary incentive plan.

What you will do

• Prepare credit approval packages for new and renewed commercial credit products, including risk ratings, financial analysis, covenant compliance, and relationship profitability.
• Analyze guarantors and identify risk factors that may affect credit ratings.
• Review loan documents and closing due diligence before closing.
• Maintain credit files, financial reporting requirements, covenant requirements, past-due items, and documentation exceptions.
• Monitor portfolio servicing activities and manage tickler implementation and maintenance.
• Identify opportunities to reduce exposure or develop new opportunities within the assigned portfolio.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders and manage multiple priorities.
• Well-organized and detail-oriented approach.

Nice to have

• Master of Business Administration (MBA).
• Two years of commercial underwriting experience.
