Specialist, Industrial Security (CSSO)

What you will do

• Manage and administer security programs for multiple special access programs exceeding standard NISPOM requirements.
• Act as the primary interface with government agencies on assigned program security matters.
• Process access eligibility determinations, PARs, classified visit certifications, access rosters, and personnel security records.
• Conduct inspections, security briefings, training, debriefings, and security assessments.
• Maintain classified material accountability, access control systems, SOPs, DD254s, facility checklists, and security plans.
• Investigate security incidents and violations, recommend corrective actions, and support classified systems accredited under RMF.

Requirements

• Eligibility for a DoD Top Secret clearance with a current investigation and ability to maintain all required special program accesses.
• U.S. citizenship is required for security clearance eligibility.
• Bachelor’s degree and 4 years of relevant experience, graduate degree and 2 years of related experience, or 8 years of related experience in lieu of a degree.
• At least 4 years of experience implementing and administering combined DoD Manual 5205.07/JSIG physical and personnel security requirements.
• Strong oral and written communication, organization, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work extended hours in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and travel approximately 10% on company business.

Nice to have

• Basic understanding of cybersecurity and the Risk Management Framework.
• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
