Industrial Security Specialist I/II/III

hirify.global is building an Industrial Security Program to support U.S. Government, Department of Defense, and Intelligence Community missions.

What you will do

• Support the Facility Security Officer with daily industrial security operations, compliance, and process development.
• Manage the personnel clearance lifecycle, including initial submissions, upgrades, reinvestigations, SF-86 reviews, and employee security reporting.
• Deliver classified onboarding and offboarding briefings, security training, visitor control, and classified meeting support.
• Process Visit Access Requests and support secure handling, inventory, shipping, and couriering of classified materials and media.
• Assist with DCSA self-inspections, assessments, audits, incident reporting, security software, policies, SPPs, and internal processes.
• Support the transition to a new facility and the stand-up and operational readiness of new classified spaces, including SCI nominations and DD-254 requirements.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship and an active Top Secret clearance are required.
• High school diploma or higher and 2–4 years of DoD/DCSA security experience supporting an FSO or CSSO.
• Hands-on experience with DISS, NISS, SWFT, and NBIS.
• Working knowledge of NISPOM 32 CFR Part 117 and DoD 5200 series manuals.
• Experience with clearance lifecycle management, classified material handling, DCSA incident reporting, DD-254 review, and DCSA self-inspections.
• Strong attention to detail, written and verbal communication, independent work, collaboration, and experience building security processes in a growing organization.

Nice to have

• CDSE DCSA FSO Possessing Facilities Certification; certification must be completed within six months of hire if not already held.
• Active Top Secret clearance with CI Poly.
• Experience with DCSA Open Storage accreditations, SCIF operations, SCI nominations, subcontractor DD-254s, and security software implementations.
• Experience in a startup or small company during rapid growth, major contract wins, or facility transitions.
