Group Product Manager (Financial Services)

Location: Toronto, Ontario; remote workplace

What you will do

• Define and own the product vision and strategy for financial services across the small business product suite.
• Lead payments infrastructure modernization, reduce fraud exposure, resolve reliability gaps, and strengthen customer trust.
• Own uptime, reliability, observability, and platform stability commitments for business-critical payment systems.
• Partner with Risk Operations, Compliance, Security, Engineering, Data, and other functions on onboarding, underwriting, fraud mitigation, and regulatory requirements.
• Build business cases, prioritize opportunities with data, define OKRs, and measure customer and business outcomes.
• Lead, coach, and develop Product Managers while improving product discovery, execution, and operational excellence.

Requirements

• 8+ years of product management experience, including at least 5 years in fintech.
• 2+ years leading product teams at the Group level or above.
• Deep expertise in financial services, payments acquiring and acceptance, payment facilitation, fraud and risk controls, and processor or platform partnerships.
• Knowledge of financial product onboarding, including KYC, KYB, compliance, regulatory, and audit requirements.
• Experience taking fintech products from ideation through launch and scale, with strong stakeholder management and people leadership skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, a data-related field, or equivalent relevant experience.

Nice to have

• Experience leading payment processor or platform partnerships and large-scale migrations.
• Experience applying AI to team productivity, fraud detection, risk decisioning, operational workflows, or customer-facing experiences.
