Data Analyst (Python/Power Automate)

Location: Hybrid in the National Capital Region, Arlington, VA or Washington, DC; onsite at least 2 days per week and once-monthly customer-facing meetings. Applicants must live within a commutable distance of no more than 2 hours.

Salary: $65,000–$110,000 per year

What you will do

• Maintain Power Automate workflows for inbox monitoring, PDF staging, and automated record creation.
• Use Python to extract data from PDF forms, create standardized JSON records, and manage field normalization.
• Perform daily data quality audits, reconcile discrepancies, troubleshoot ingestion failures, and maintain source-of-truth consistency.
• Process DHS background investigation packets and manage PII/CUI documents in accordance with federal security protocols.
• Track clearance, training, credentialing, and fulfillment workflows through Tableau, SharePoint, and related tracking tools.
• Generate reports, maintain SOPs and repositories, and coordinate with external agencies and federal stakeholders.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship and the ability to complete the DHS security and suitability background check are required; DHS Public Trust is required.
• At least 2 years of experience as a Data Analyst.
• Advanced knowledge of Power Automate and Python for data extraction, parsing, and JSON processing.
• Proficiency with SharePoint, Tableau, Microsoft Office, data reconciliation, and quality assurance.
• Experience handling PII/CUI and password-encrypted document workflows under federal security protocols.
• Bachelor’s degree in business or an IT-related field, strong communication and organizational skills, and the ability to work in an agile team environment.

Nice to have

• Active or previous DHS experience.
• Working knowledge of SAFe methodology.
• Secret Clearance or higher.
• Experience delivering data-driven solutions with a customer-first mindset.
